I am a Coast Guard Licensed Captain with a TPWD guides license, offering drop off duck hunts. This hunt includes transportation to a blind or designated hunting area, decoys, and transportation back to the dock ( No Guide will be in the blind with you, therefore you will be responsible for retrieving birds and keeping up with limits) . As the hunter you will need your own shotgun (with a plug in it) Steel shot shells, waders, and a valid hunting license with a federal duck stamp. The hunt begins a hour before legal shooting light and ends at 10 am on morning hunts and for evening hunts begins at 2pm and goes until sunset. The cost is $100 a person but must have a minimum of $250 to go the most people that I can take is 6. I require a $100 deposit for each hunt. On an average hunt you can expect to have opportunity's at; Red Heads, Blue Bills, Pin Tail, Buffle Head, Teal, and Wigeon. Don't forget to ask about Cast N Blast specials that are going on now.

For any other questions don't hesitate to give me a call (512)804-8589 or visit my website www.captainclintsmith.com or on Facebook Come N Take It Outfitters

Any lodging nearby.

Since the split the birds have started to become blind shy and I have started to hunt on spoil islands to give a more natural look, with that being said as long as you have 6 people or less there is plenty of room.
Every location with be in water depths less than 30” so it’s completely safe to retrieve birds.
There are plenty of hotels, motels, and rental houses in corpus to choose from.

Please give me a call for any additional questions

Is the minimum per blind or per trip? In other words, if there are four people going to two blinds does that meet the minimum?

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

This group braved the elements today for early limits on ducks then went offshore for some nice Red Snapper
