Nothing gets deer moving any better than cold, wet weather. I suspect feeder and food plot activity is going to explode as long as these cold temperatures hang around. Just make it a point to stay late into the morning when the deer can wait no longer to eat and you might be surprised at what you see.

Sleet missed us. We could use the moisture. Drier than a popcorn fart around here.

I hope it’s good this Friday in Centerville. I am going to be able to get out from mid morning till legal shooting time is up. Hopefully I can get a big buck to come in early in the day.

Wanted to boogie yesterday but a Christmas dinner party got in the way, heading out around 11 this morning. Might actually put the Buddy heater in the blind?

Yes, propane canisters could be hard to find in some places right now. Might be a good idea to plan ahead.

Another front with even colder temperatures will be passing through the state today.

Yes sir!! Excited about this weekend. Deer have probably been bedded down and this weekend they ought to be up and moving. I will be in the woods tomorrow evening. My area has received about 3” this week so far. Hopefully enough to spoil the acorns

Good luck!
