I might be wrong but that deer appears to have Northern genetics so I'm going to have to be a little on the not sure side.

Look at the end of some of those tines, they are bulbed like pen raised deer which are constantly hitting their tines on feeder tubes. This is just my thought. Very nice buck!

Buck 25-06, that is a great buck, lots of mass and dark horned. I would say Mexico

That's very common on mule deer out here and they are definitely not pen raised

They don't get that way from bumping feeder tubes. Just thick tines is all. Does look like a HF buck though.

I agree could be a pen raised deer. There a few point that are a little rounded off. They also lack good color in antlers like a pen raised deer.

I’d bet money that’s a pen raised deer. Maybe he shot it free range for one reason or another, but that ain’t no native, free range raised deer.

People are surprised to see the size of these Bosque River bucks, but there is at least one that shows up nearly every year. Last year, two bucks in a field along Hwy 6 near Baylor Camp Road stopped traffic....two 112 point monsters grazing!

this is a legit deer. rumor has it that several bucks got out of a nearby high fence ranch a couple of years back. A friend of mine killed a 170 plus right up the road 2 years ago on a 2 acre place.

Congrats to him but I would doubt that deer was a true native born deer myself.

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

My family memeber lost quiet a few, bad rain storm and swing gate got washed out from a bunch of junipers. It was in valley mills. Definaltely looks like some hf genetitecs. Great deer either way. What a trophy for low fence.
