I am hunting about 10 minutes south of Loraine. No one one the leas knows of a processor or place with short freezer storage that is within a reasonable distance. Anybody know of one?

The only ones I know of are the 2 in Abilene, The Deer Stop and Stephens Processing, I have used both with no regrets. I have also heard decent comments about Dad's Processing in Merkel, but have never used them.

Dads is showing 50 min from here guess that will have to do. I can’t believe there isn’t anything in sweewater. I am mostly looking for storage. The weather this year has not been good for letting them hang.

I would quarter it up and put it on ice.. Quicker and cheaper than driving a hundred miles..

Agree. I won't drive 20 mins into town, quarter it and don't worry about the weather.
