I am hunting about 10 minutes south of Loraine. No one one the leas knows of a processor or place with short freezer storage that is within a reasonable distance. Anybody know of one?

The only ones I know of are the 2 in Abilene, The Deer Stop and Stephens Processing, I have used both with no regrets. I have also heard decent comments about Dad's Processing in Merkel, but have never used them.

Several friends in the Snyder area only use Dads.

Dads is showing 50 min from here guess that will have to do. I canít believe there isnít anything in sweewater. I am mostly looking for storage. The weather this year has not been good for letting them hang.

I would quarter it up and put it on ice.. Quicker and cheaper than driving a hundred miles..

Agree. I won't drive 20 mins into town, quarter it and don't worry about the weather.
