In the second attachment of pictures, I will have the bucks I would like your thoughts on please.

Start off with the oops hammer
I ran off and forgot my binoculars at the house, was fortunate that there is a old spare pair in the blind that have been there forever and are never used. So I had to dust them off a little grin

Saw a lot of action in the plot yesterday evening, nothing to get riled up about.
To my surprise a buck that I only have one game cam pic at night showed up right before 7:00 am this morning at the feeder.
He got my heart rate up a little, watched him eat then walk across the field pretty casual, thought about taking him but decided not to.

Well he returned with his girlfriend around 8:15, he walked out first she joined him they ate and did a little chasing. Watched them for about 10 + minutes.

Couple more pics of him.

Would think the split brow buck is mature ( big body ) and would have a hard time not taking him depending on neighbors.Looks at least 5 years old. rifle

You might be wondering Stub why don't you chootem? Or maybe not laugh

I have been fortunate to hunt this Honey Hole for a long time, but times are changing. I have been managing 80 acres but only hunting the east 40 which isn't much unless you have a lot of family members involved. Two of the family members own the 40 I am on, 4 own the 40 acres to the west. One of the 4 to the west is going to build a barndominium on their 10 acres next fall and they will be all over the place. Some of their relatives just sold their 80 acres to the east of me to a couple of lawyers from FT. Worth, there goes the neighborhood rofl
Fortunately their is a 40 acre buffer between me and the lawyers!

So my honey hole will probably not be as productive but will see??
A couple of more pics this afternoon, I got into the blind at 3:45 and saw them at 4:31, the left a little after 5.
Sorry the pics are off I had to shoot through the netting because they were so close.

Its dry, need some rain bad. Thinking about putting a water trough outside the feeder?

Time to boogey down the road and have some fun

I ain't no judge of deer, but there's definitely a couple there I would shoot. That sucks about the hood going downhill. I've lost all the good places I had over the years, due to changing hands, death, etc. And I hope you don't/didn't get a bunch of tiny spiders in your eyes.

Mmmm Hmmm

Hope everyone enjoyed the sunrise this morning.

First picture out of the blind window . Second one I was enjoying mother nature so much that I got out of the blind to take a quick pic.

Got a new buck that showed up last night at the feeder.

DQ If this guy makes an appearance in the field this afternoon, I might have to squeeze off on him up
