I did a search and didn't see much in the last year. It's probably a tourist thing us Damn Yankees want to do.

Any suggesting for Helicopter Hog Hunts, prefer near Ft Worth but we can drive a ways for a good deal.

Edited to add:

Any experience with Mr D's Helicopters?

In a previous life, I worked for the largest civilian helicopter operator in the world, got to ride in pretty much every type of helicopter there was. So, if only to pick by the quality of aircraft I would ride in, I would use these guys...

They do their hunts out of a turbine-powered Hughes 500 vs the basement Robinson gas recip most are running. Just not something I would spend any time in. Based out of Bowie, so it's hog country. I'm planning to do one with them myself this Spring.

Might try Cedar Ridge Avation out of Knox City, Texas. I grew up in that part 0f Texas and they got lots of hogs. Good luck.

I've ridden in a few military helicopters. Never in one of the little Robinsons. Just looking at prices on the web flying with one of the outfits that uses a MD500 is only $100-$200 and hour more expensive, but they generally let you have 2 shooters at the same time.

I have sent them an e-mail. Thanks.

Andy just replied back to my e-mail. His pricing is pretty much the same as the others and cheaper than a couple that are using R22/R44's. He's also got one hunt with a smaller group that fits into my schedule very well at a good price and is about an hour away from where I'll be staying.

Great to hear and when you finish with your adventure, come back with a story and most importantly, pics or videos or you'll get this... worthless

You can post pics directly (5th icon from the left when doing a post, with the blue up arrow) and for videos use YouTube, no hosting needed.

Well son of a gun, you learn something new every day. Here's a couple we shot back in October when my son and I made the trip down. No helicopter, just walking around the farm in the dark.

Weird I see the image tags when I try to edit my post but I don't see any pictures.
