we bought property a year and a half ago. 75% was burnt up in wild fire 2011. it's growing back rather well know turkey still not coming around but have seen them 1/2 a mile away. mowed about 30 packers left natural did not plant anything have a lot of deer coming in eating natural grass but no turkey what will grow in this area that deer and turkey will thrive in.

our place SW from Ozona doesn't really have any soil that I would consider putting in any type of food plots ... mostly rocky & caliche, even down in the bottom of the canyons.
