We made a little loop this afternoon and pointed 4 coveys in an hour and half. We never fired a shot. Most of the quail were sparrow size. You finding more than usual?

My partners have reported them on our Fowlerton lease near Tilden. I've not seen any.

Another four coveys this morning. All adult birds.

I hunted last week about 50 miles northwest of San Angelo and it looks like they had a hatch of bobs that made it. Did not see or kill any blues that looked to be young birds but did not hunt the area that held blue's as much because it was rough and thick. Not as many young birds as the last two years would be my first impression but it's too early to tell much.
