I got this nice buck last weekend. What do you think?

My question is this: I've seen four or so doe around my place, but only one that is old and fat where I could justify shooting her. I've seen 3 or 4 spikes show up. If you had a choice, would you shoot the doe or one of the spikes?
It would be nice to get a bit more meat, but not essential.

I would probably go for the doe as well. But there is a case to be made either way.

I'd go for the old doe.

I'd shoot a young doe.

Nice buck! Old doe or most mature spike.

are the spikes young, like last year's fawn? I would likely opt for a older doe.
