I've seen them together on cam but haven't seen any actual chasing yet. That said, I haven't gotten to hunt much. Should get out tomorrow.

Sunday afternoon about 5 pm I saw a great ten point buck pushing a doe right on the Wise/Denton county line when I was driving on 380...the rut is in full swing here in North Texas! Best of luck sir!

Not much movement this morning. Had a couple does come by, but that's it. Chilly wind should move them eventuallly I hope.

We've been seeing them move later in the morning recently.

And yes, Wise Co rut is on!

Just rushed my daughter on a shot. Fairly certain she missed. Gonna wait a while, but 99% sure he wasn't hit.


Feel awful. Hoping I go in those woods in a bit and get surprised. Exact cull 8 I wanted her to take.
