Last night was my first use of seek thermal. I can't afford those real expensive thermal scopes so tried the seek thermal. I could see the hogs in the woods. I used my green light thinking they had made it out of the tree line but wasn't the case. Regardless it helped me find them which is cool. Did get a shot off but the hog layed up by a tree on someone else's property so didn't go after. Wasn't worth the trouble to recover. It cost $360.00 on amazon. Worth the money to me but I will have to post up at a different location now that I know where they are coming from. Was my first day on that property. Tonight will use it with my ir setup.

They claim 1800 feet. That is to find heat signatures only. To make out what the animal is I'd say depends on size. About 70 yards I'd guess. Will post a small video of cows in a pasture when it gets uploaded. Here is a dog up close
