Buy the 380 for 289 and get a heritage 22 revolver for free. I know itís a great deal and Iíll be at academy at 3am for it. Anyone got experience with this gun? I already have heritage 22 I bought 2 years ago at academy for 100 bucks

Not that great if a deal you can find the 22s for $100 on sale all the time and the Millennium for $200 at other stores.

They were lined up for this deal at the Greenville Academy. I only wanted one of their $99 Nikon scopes for my 10/22, so I didn't sit through the long line for guns. The cashier said their 4473 connection wasn't working well, so it was going to be really slow getting through the line. I didn't envy anyone near the end.

I agree that the deal is just ok. You can find the gun's individually for $200 and $100, so why Academy selling both for $300 attracted so many people is beyond me. I guess just the psychology of getting a gun "free".

Side note: the $99 Nikon scope is really nice for the money. Made in Phillipines (not China), and fairly clear for the money. I'm sure it'll be more than adequate on my 10/22.

The .22s as far as I've seen, and rarely $100. Usually only at Black Friday. On sale is usually $129 or $139 from what I've seen.
