Can anyone give me any info on hunting Mills County. Going to the lease this weekend for the first time this season and was curious about how the hunting was right now.

Well what part of mills ? West part is the best , movement right now is great bucks everywhere but thanksgiving weekend will be better if we get some cooler weather .

I saw bucks with does mid-day driving 2025 last Sunday about 4-5 miles N of Golthwaite. I'd say it is ON and with the cooler weather coming be sure to hunt Saturday afternoon and ALL DAY Sunday (and if possible, hunt Monday too!)

It is in the Northern part of the county Good area. As far as numbers go, close to the Colorado river, I think. Still plenty of deer in southern Comanche and northern Mills counties.

Rut was in full swing last weekend, this week/weekend should see the peak, hopefully it's still going for Thanksgiving.
