First is a rustic skinner that I made from an old sawmill blade. 7 3/8" overall with an acid etched blade and spalted oak scales with brass mosaic pins and lanyard tube. I really haven't decided if I'm going to leave the blade dark or buff it out some.

Next is a boning/kitchen knife. Blade material is high carbon 1095 heat treated and tempered to HRC 59. Scales are Ivory Micarta with peened brass pins and red liners. 11" overall and 6" tip to scales.

Nice work, Mike. I like that first blade dark, like it is.

Both knives are looking real good! I vote for leaving the rustic one dark, just like it is.
