have 65 acres now available for hunting lease. It is mostly wooded, but has a pond, and a power line right-of-way across it. There are lightly used county roads on 3 sides. Available immediately for deer, bird and hog hunting.(Last lessee did not renew because he has new baby and won't have much time to hunt). Location is 5 miles northeast of the intersection highways 154 and 2869. (8-10 miles north of Holly Lake Ranch and about 40 miles north of Tyler) Will consider your reasonable offer.

Average lease price is $10 per acre
Since this is a smaller property and season has already started
$5 or $6 per acre would be reasonable
$400 for exclusive hunting rights for the remainder of white tail season would be reasonable

I have an old 4 bolt 350 long block, a 20 ft. oilfield chain, red rider bb gun, a couple hard to find 235/75/15s, some kinda blury Pentax 10x50 binocs, and a bag of peeecans I'll trade ya. loco_too

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

I used to have a place at Holly Lake. There are some very good deer in that area.

I bet you could get $1000-$1200 if you can show there are a good amount of deer, hogs, ducks.

Makes you wonder if it was hunted opening day,,, shot a couple of deer, and you can pay for what's left.

You are obviously in need of education on the cost of land ownership. Reasonable has nothing to do with supply and demand. The numbers you threw out are day hunt prices. Good luck.

If hunting rights were to pay for land ownership prices would be $100s an acre. Just pay the mortgage while you are at it. Get real. He is asking about leasing the land with nothing more. Sounds about right at this time of the year as you might get a deer or two total. $10 to $15 an acre would be my price for a full season. We pay $9 an acre. Landowner still has $3 million in equity... He would sell if they wanted real returns but for some it isn't about being a millionaire in the bank luckily. Most are already are.

$1000 sounds reasonable for this property months back, now it should be cheaper considering how late it is.

He's talking about leasing the land for the next 2 months or so. Pretty much 8 weekends still left for Whitetail alone. Point me in the direction of where you can go hunt for $25 dollars a day somewhere and I'll be all over it. Heck half of Texas would be as well. If your paying $9 dollars an acre and the landowner has $3 mill in equity your referring to a much larger property than the one under discussion. Therefore your point is moot. Unless of course we are talking about Kerr,Bandera or maybe Kendall counties.

No problem, brah. For all intensive purposes, I knew you had a tough road to ho, & proofreading always peaks my interest. I'm not sure what the statue of limitations is on misspelled words, but I think your Scotch free. Misspelled phrases don't really phase me, irregardless.

Do not do business with this man. We agreed on a price, he sent us over the copy of the lease, we drove two and a half hours each way to check on the property and make sure it was what he described and when we called to tell him we would do it he told us someone else took it after he already told us it was ours and he knew we were going to see it and would give him a call back. Ridiculous. Not a man of his word like he claimed on the phone.

Just leased this 65 acre tract for $1350 for lease ending 30 October 2018.
Could have gotten $1500 if start date had been earlier.
