Tag and proof of sex which is the head. Or just MLD permit. Or the old wildlife resource document if no proof of sex but must be signed by landowner or landowners agent. If head is at taxidermist, they issue a receipt confirming sex for proof of sex.

If someone isn't there, they take it as long as tag is there... Better than it going to waste or trying to do it yourself without proper tools. Many folks toss the head out but if they are at the processor, prepare to be questioned and possibly ticketed. You know who they is...

If it's not your deer but you are in possession of it you need to have the Transfer of Wildlife Resource form filled out and signed.

Not if you have their tag.

You should never need proof of sex at the processor. Most require a tag but I've dropped deer off without them before, just had to fill out a wildlife resource document.
