Slow opening weekend for us in Kent County but did see a lot of young deer. Checked the cams and have some pretty good looking deer and a couple of badgers.

great pics! Outstanding 10! And yet I'd rather get a shot at that badger! I'd love to have one of those on the wall!

2nd deer might barely pass the AR width laugh He is a wide dude. Surprised the Badger and Yote are so cozy in the feeder pen, did they dig under?
A lot of cool pics, thanks for sharing up

Cool pics.

Fun Fact: sometimes coyotes and badgers hunt together. I had no idea until I saw them together at my ranch in south Texas. Looked up some info and sure enough, they are often a hunting team. Here's one of many articles about it:

Article on Coyotes and Badgers as hunting partners

Form another article:
"When coyotes and badgers team up, the pairs track small, burrowing animals such as prairie dogs and ground squirrels. If the prey is above ground, the coyote usually chases it down, and the badger takes over the hunt if the prey descends underground. And not only do they find food together, but coyotes also have more success in this partnership than if they go it alone. Coyotes with badger cohorts catch an estimated one-third more ground squirrels than solo coyotes"

THats pretty cool. I've always thought it would be interesting to harvest one to mount. I guess I got to add that to my list of animals when looking for a guide this winter.

Incredible pic. First badger I saw was in Kent county. I found one snared in Montague a few years ago at the lease.
