Over the years I have hunted with Pulsar Digisights (N550 and N750) as well as Pulsar Thermals (Core RXQ30V and Apex) and I've always desired a smaller format scope base.

They've arrived and I can't wait to put a few rounds down range to test it out soon.

I noticed some slight play when switching between two AR10s some I shot this quick vid to explain the adjustment process - check with your dealer or order direct from Pulsar if your interested in getting one!

Is that the official one from Pulsar? What is the street price? The locking lug looks rounded where it mates the rail face. If so I would prefer it to be squared up lie it is on the bottom.

I like how much of the rail remains available. Nice mount.

They're pretty decent. I got 10 in the other day and they went out really fast. They're built pretty well considering the low price point. Regular price next year will be 119 so for current owners its a dang good deal at the present.

Order anyway. It will ship when available.

I wonder why they didn't come up with a mount like this one in the first place instead of the clunky one that came with my Trail.

Pulsar is an international company based in Lithuania and the design is mostly done there, Russian and Europe. Pulsar USA is the one who came out with this new mount because the complaints about the included mount have been coming mostly from the US. Pulsar USA had to get permission to create this mount and put Pulsar's name on it. These mounts are currently not available overseas to other Pulsar owners. This might all change in 2018 but that's yet to be seen.

The mounts are produced in China. I'd be willing to bet they become available everywhere. I do believe next year they will be sold with the scopes standard in the US.

Right on brother. They're definitely superior to the goofy one that shipped originally. The only advantage to the original one is for a bolt gun if you need the eye relief.

Thanks for the video. Re-mounted RXQ30V with new pulsar mount today on AR308... simple - had to tighten about 10 "clicks" on the adjustment nut for a good tight mount. Sighted in, removed unit and re-attached, and zero was held.

Have you tried the DLOC-PTM? Which one do you think is better? I have the DLOC and it seems ok, just wondering if I should get one of these while they are at the lower price.

Have not tried anything other than the original hulk of a mount that came with, and the new lighter QD Pulsar mount. I am satisfied with it at this point. Also, I am cheap! $48 to my door.

The DLOC is great and I can't see any reason you'd want to change to the new Pulsar mount, since you already own the DLOC. I'd say stick with what you've got. You'd likely just spend $40 + shipping on the Pusar mount and throw it in the gun safe and never use it.

So far so good with the new mount
