Is it still legal to harvest anterless deer during archery season? The outdoor annual use to specifically state that it was legal and that no permit was required.... However, this year's annual does not mention anything about bag limits during archery season nor anything specific about antlerless deer. Unless I over looked it. I checked many counties both in the printed and online versions of the outdoor annual.

Anyone know for sure if the rule changed?

Not doubting but how did you determine that? Everything I read it didn't specify what was legal for archery season only general season. I've been now hunting for 6 yrs now and best I can recall it always specified something about anterless under the archery heading.

-again, I'm not doubting you I'm just curious what I missed

That's under archery only season.

Edit:
I'm sorry that's the youth season requirements.

I'm positive I'm right on what I told you earlier. I'm in Bosque county and we are allowed five doe during bow season and it is worded the same. Call your gamewarden if you are still unsure.

I called and you're correct. No permit required for doe during archery and muzzleloader season and also during the first 16 days of general. Thanks for clearing that up, the fact that it wasn't stated like it had been in the past threw me off

I hate how they word some of the regs. Don't blame you a bit for double checking.
