Another fun day shooting yesterday. Shot a couple groups at 100 before going out to the 300/400 yard steel. Still impressed that factory rifles can do this sort of thing.

Black target dots are 1"

T3x CTR 6.5 creedmoor with factory 140 ELD-M ammo

T3x Varmint 223 with Chad's "bulk" reloads

Should be getting my new T3X in 6.5 in a couple of days. Can't wait.

Chad, do you have any 6.5 ammo loaded with 143 ELDX?

Left handed guys get the shaft.

So my policy is, screw all these manufacturers, I'll have customs built exactly like I want them.

Can you buy just the LH action anywhere to build from?

And I hate you guys for posting this all the time-I came so close to buying the .260 CTR in the classifieds the other day. Every time you post about this I get another bruise on my butt from kicking myself.

Gotta buy a donor rifle, or wait in a long line for a custom action maker to make lefties. Frequently, as soon as a run of lefties are built they are all spoken for. I have build 5 LH rifles off of donor rifles. Savage, Savage, Rem 700, Tikka, Tikka.

Tikka is the best bang for the buck.

Maybe I'm getting senile, but seems back in the 60's Weatherby was putting out lefthanded models...

I'm sure that's correct. Lots of manufactures make lefties, in limited models. Some brands I don't want any part of, Weatherby being one of them.

Just think how good they would shoot if you replaced those cheap plastic stocks. grin

Great grouping..... I bought one of the new 1-8 twist Tikka T3x LH in 22-250 that I'm dying to shoot. Chad worked me up some 70 grain Barnes TSX. I'm hoping to get to shoot it this weekend.

I love the stock on the Varmint. The wide forend and vertical grip are great. Wish the CTR forend had some more meat to it.

I'll admit the T3 Lite stocks leave something to be desired, but I don't have much of an issue with either of the ones on these rifles.
