Drew for February Exotic. Never been south of Alice also. This will be an adventure. Totally unfamiliar with the Nilgai. Any input I'm all ears fellows.

Nilgai's look like giraffe's to me when they run. Two things I noticed is that they don't stop to look back when they run. They are gone. Second, they are determined not to fall so hit em hard and more than once.

Appreciate it. Hopefully there will still be a few still around when we make it down there.

Drew for first hunt, archery, only interested in getting a Nilgai. Hopping for beginner's luck. Any recommendations appreciated. Will gladly pass onto those hunting later.
Don't talk the talk if you didn't walk the walk.

Appreciate it. Hopefully there will still be a few still around when we make it down there. There will be plenty, my lease borders the Teniete and there are plenty around. Find a good area and just stay put and sit all day. Someone might push one to you. Spot and stalk isnt really logical, its pretty thick in there and they'll see, hear, or smell you before you see them. Look for huge piles of poop-they use the same area regularly. February is a good month to hunt them, it falls under there rut.
