I have seen a few posts asking if Ozonics works. After a few years of thinking about it, I finally bought one. This weekend my son and I went to the lease to do a little work thinking we may get in a short hunt after. The wind was bad for our stand location so I was not expecting much. I even tried to talk him into not hunting. I finally gave in and we headed to the stand. We were both sweaty, no scent control was put on so I figured this would put my new Ozonics to the ultimate test. With the wind directly at our back and blowing straight to the feeder I attached the Ozonics to the tree and put it on boost mode. 30 minutes later we see a doe come in straight down wind from us about 50 yard away. Directly in the path of the wind. On her way in she stopped a few time to check things out but kept coming in. I was amazed. These doe have busted us many times at this feeder with numerous brands of scent control and with far better wind conditions. Deer makes it to the feeder and my son makes a great shot. Deer drops 40 - 50 yards. I'm definitely bringing the Ozonics on my next trip. This was my sons first bow kill. He couldn't be more excited. Check out the video.

Should I only hunt on days when there is an ozone watch? grin Congrats to your son!

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

At that price , it should have a button for an Asian bathhouse to popup next to the stand peep

Congrats to your son. I understand wanting to get in a hunt, but with the wind blowing directly at your feeder? No wonder does have busted you many times. Good luck with the rest of the season.

This was the only time I hunted with the wind blowing directly at the feeder. Wanted to see how effective the Ozonics was and it worked. Other times when busted where with more favorable wind conditions and deer came from different direction.

It wasn't a purchase that I took lightly. Not having to spend time and money on other sent control methods that just don't work and the confidence that my hunts won't be ruined by unfavorable wind changes is worth it to me.

I had similar thoughts until I did some research and finally experienced it myself.

I would think this thing would be even more effective if you are in a box blind.
