Just finished altering a neoprene vest for the Pudelpointer. I like the way it turned out.

Neck looks good, you could probably take some out in the shoulders.
Did you cut and use neoprene cement?

Yep, cut, neoprene cemented. Then sewed seams with dental floss and painted seams with aquaseal. I did dart shoulders but I could have taken a little more.

Man thats a lot more than I ever did. I just cut, and sew with a heavy thread. Just make sure the seams are sewn on the outside, so they don't rub the dog.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

The neoprene cement makes a flat seam like factory. Some just go with that. The extra step of sewing ensures they don't pull apart. May be overkill, and it's kind of a pain, but the last one I did lasted 12 years of hard use.
