A lot of us don't really know each other, other than the posts we read from one another so lets shed a little light.

Im 34 will be 35 in 4 days and born and raised in Florida in a town called Dade City surrounded by swamps, cow pastures, and orange groves. I am married to my High school sweetheart we met in the 11th grade and got married 2 yrs after HS. After HS I started working in residential construction doing mostly interior and exterior framing along with installing siding, soffit, and fascia. When the housing market crashed in 2005 I chose to join the Army which I had wanted to do for a few yrs. Decided to be a Combat Engineer so I could play with explosives. Was in the Army for 11 yrs before getting medically retired after 3 deployments. Before my 2nd deployment my Wife and I decided to start a family so I told her to quit taking birth control and we would give it a try when I came home for RR. Shortly after returning to Afghanistan after RR my wife told me she was pregnant. Our son arrived in April 2012 and was literally the best day of my life and the best choice we have ever made. He is now 5 1/2 and we are almost at 15 yrs of marriage. I have a very weird and sometimes dark sense of humor and make jokes about almost anything including death and this deems me as insensitive at times. I am rarely ever serious especially on here. I can get along with almost anyone but prefer people who are drama free and like minded for the most part. Haven't worked a day since I retired but I do volunteer a lot with youth sports and I am a voluntary hunting guide on Ft Hood which consumes a lot of time. I have probably put in 200+ hours building blinds, fixing existing blinds, and cutting and trimming shooting lanes in the area I guide in. Its actually a lot more time consuming than I expected but I enjoy it. I almost went back to school last yr but decided last minute not to and almost took a job in DFW until my wife said last minute she didn't want to move. I might start looking for a job after hunting season just to have something new to do and for a challenge but right now I hunt, fish, and spend as much time as I can with my son.

I think the proper term for that is "Boy Toy". And, I have my doubts that you are.

To borrow a phrase from Djones, I'm 6feet tall 185lbs of tiger skin stretched over a coil spring. Blackbelt in karate. Just keeping it real

OK. I lied. 5'10 pushing 200#. Never taken karate lessons. Mid 50s. Last paying job was as ReMax real estate agent. Semi retired, living the dream. Have 3 rental homes that have to be managed. Love the outdoors. Trying to make our land better than we found it. That is a full time job.

It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family.......

Grew up in Oak Cliff. Graduated from Kimball High School in 1978.

Erath Kid and I ran the same streets together. Came from a large family merged together by necessity. Everything I have I've earned on my own.

I consider myself the luckiest guy on earth. I married up to a farm girl from Minnesota. She has been my rock since I was 20 years old. Two lovely daughters just starting great careers that never gave me a gray hair.(23,27) There is no generation gap with us like I had with my parents. We really enjoy spending time together, even after their liberal poisoning graduating from college, LOL!

Sometimes I think I'm brutally honest. I loathe drama.

The loathe drama part is why we get along so well. Glad to call ya a friend.

I'm 38 grew up in Rockwall county. A poor kid in a rich town. Kinda made me strange I think. Kinda hard headed and like what I like and don't what I don't. Since I could walk and talk I've wanted to be outdoors. Spent my young adult life fishing every puddle in Texas. Duck hunting any where I could find and deer hunting when invited. For work I got my journeyman electrical license after 4 years in the trade and left it a year later. I've been in and around the major commercial construction industry since. Now I'm in construction management.
Now that I have 2 wonderful daughters and the best wife one could imagine I spend most of my time chasing a 2 and 4 year old or doing honey do's. O just started construction of my own house. I'm framing skinning doing the electrical plumbing wall rough and am the "builder" if I can get in to the house with my sanity I hope to not do much but hunt and fish for the following year using the house as leverage.
P.s. we are a camping family my 4 year old ask to camp every weekend. I love it.
