I do not hunt deer in Sept or Octobees full moon. I personally never had success and can hunt every weekend. What are your experiences in Sept Oct full moon.

Depends on when the moon is overhead. If it's overhead late at night or early morning chances are there won't be a whole lot of early daylight movement. I hunt regardless though hell I hunt almost every chance I get

full moon, I have always had good luck mid day, depends on where the moon is, if the moon is directly over head at midnight, I usually have good luck mid day, hunting & fishing

I've always had good luck mid morning to early afternoon when there's a full moon. Never had much luck hog hunting at night with a full moon for some reason.

I have never had a problem hunting on the full moon. There was a technical article published last week. Per ONE study, deer movement changes very little during moon phases. This was in one state (Pennsylvania) and one study. Remember..deer have to eat, no matter what phase the moon is in.

I slept in with a full moon and started the hunt around noon and would go until dark. Usually I went to the best water source on the place.

I have noticed the same as a lot of you guys, usually more activity late morning, early afternoon. I still go, because you never know when that buck will decide to grace your presence. If a fm falls during the rut, well, you know....

Full moons suck for hunting. Sleep in and hunt midday

But I killed a giant boar the other night during full moon. Just depends on when the moon is overhead.

Stubbie laugh

You know DQ, I don't remember what brand it is? Had mechanical ones that I did not like so I went to the Outdoor Pro Archery shop in Garland a couple of years ago and asked for his recommendation on a fixed and that is it, whatever it is?

On a side note, I was hunting out of a friends blind on another property in this picture. Later that day I checked my game cam by my feeder, I had a young fat spike show up at 10:15 am, going to try and stick him up

I hunted this past full moon and saw deer on every sit. Granted none of them were mature bucks but still saw plenty of deer. Most of them showed up between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Last year I chose not to hunt the full moon in Nov. and the buck I've been chasing for 3 years was at a feeder with a doe with 15 min. of legal shooting light left. Never know when they're gonna show up. Also the solunar tables show that the best times to hunt are during a full moon.

We had good movement this weekend. Friday evening I had six does and a legal eight point. Saturday evening I had a mature 11 point that I just almost let an arrow go on. Mornings were slow though.

Movement this weekend was great. Between 2 of us, we had 11 mature deer come in across all hunts and were seeing good numbers at each stand. Saturday evening, the movement was late but it was also HOT...

This time of year, I don't see much midday movement with the deer no matter what the moon is doing. Later in the season, the late morning movement can be productive.

My deal...I get in woods whenever I can cheers

I hunted this past weekend with the full moon. I didn't need a light to walk to the stand. I could see my feeders long before the sun thought about coming up. I saw quite a few deer in the mornings and the evenings. Like mentioned above, I hunt when I have the opportunity.
