I gave up watching football to hunt. Thank god for dvr.
I'm sitting on the edge of a plateau so my sent can blow off and above the hill. I don't have a cam on this stand but already had a 6pt come through.

He actually trailed my scent from my boots. I usually wear rubber boots but it's so dang hot that I chose to wear snake boots. Hopefully they don't spook from my scent coming in. This guy walked by and was on it right away. He seems more curious then scared though

That's didn't go well. I just shot...
A pig came in. He was dead broadside. I drew back and settled the pin. Just as I was about to shoot a whole bunch came running in. I didn't mean to pull the trigger. I ended up hitting him anyway..just not sure where. My eye wasn't even in the peep.

A dead pig is a good pig. Did you find your arrow?

I found him 500 yards or more away. He went down to the bottom of the hill i was on. I hit him in the neck and it came out of his shoulder. I didn't get lung. He left an amazing trail though. It would peter out and then there would be a half gallon. Then start to get tough to follow and open up again. He was one tough pig.
