Any recommendations on a decent bino harness that's comfortable? I don't like the regular neck strap that comes with binos and I have the S4 LOCKDOWN BINO HARNESS and cant stand it.

Crooked Horn. I've had a couple pair over the years and can't find a reason to go to anything else. I absolutely HATE these newer bino holders that like the one you have in the link.

Becareful, the elastic ones when combined with fence crossings are dangerous. It's embarrassing walking back to camp with a bloody mouth and face while seeing stars because you binos, got caught on the fence, and you didn't realize it until you turn toward the pressure created via the harness .. and whack... you are one the ground.

I'm running an Alaska Guide Creations. The Kuiu harness isn't bad either.

Crooked Horn if you are just low impact deer hunting from blind mostly. Alaska Guide Creations if doing more.

Plus one for the Alaska Guide Creations packs. If you need to carry just a tad bit more stuff, they are very handy for all sorts of "smalls" that you might need/want close at hand. With this case and a camel back pack, you can do quite a bit with only minimal weight.
Are you going to pull those pistols, or whistle Dixie?

I've looked into the Alaska Guide Creation and my cousin has one. That thing was super nice, and I will probably entertain one of those in a couple of years for elk hunting. The Crooked Horn looks nice and simple for around texas though.
Does the crooked horn rise up on your back and dig into the back of your neck? It looks like the cross straps in the back are quite a bit lower than the S4 Lockdown that I currently have. It doesn't hurt, but is just extremely annoying constantly adjusting it.

The crooked horn is really comfortable. It usually stays pretty much where you set it. Occasionally, you may have to make an adjustment. The elastic will wear out eventually and you just get a new one. I've been eyeballing the sitka version. One set of the straps doesn't stretch on it. I wonder if it may last longer.

Kuiu! Extremely comfortable and lightweight. I am a minimalist and can fit my 10x42s plus a lens cloth and a waterproof cover. I don't need/want anything else in the case as its added weight. I can't comment on the AGC as I have never used one. I have seen it and it is a bit heavier than the Kuiu but it also has more pockets for additional items. Lots of positive reviews for both.

I used the "minimalist" AGC on the sheep hunt. It was perfect because it has an elastic pocket on top that your cell phone fits just right in. Got lots of photos I never would have taken without it being so handy. Also has a very minimalist zip pocket on the bottom I didn't use and two little mesh pockets on the side. I kept Cat Crap anti-fog in one and didn't use the other. For just hunting here in Texas I don't use it, just a CH strap.

NG, that sounds about what I'm thinking. One that's simple and easy for hunting here in texas and probably the AGC while out "walk hunting" as I call it in Colorado.

Take a look at the Badlands basic harness. I’ve been using one for several years and haven’t found a more comfortable alternative. Can’t beat their customer service either.
