Shockingly, this buck is -.75 years old.

A couple of months ago, his father ate some Double Down, and even as a sperm he forced his way out and grew this tremendous rack.

Fantastico!

Look at that! That DD feed has so much good in it the feeder legs can't support it all.

It ain't gonna fall. Built that way on purpose (welded construction) to ease filling off of a pickup bed or 6' step ladder.

Did the feed do that or just having the sticker on the feeder?

They must have stolen their marketing plan from Yeti.

FWIW, this is the first year I have tried ANY type of protein feed. Here's a couple more pictures of some other backs at another feeder. I have owned this ranch 20 years and this is the best crop of bucks yet. Does it work?? It would be hard to convince me otherwise. Note the other feeder has a 16' fiberglass ladder nearby. Much tougher for my 82 year old [censored] to climb than the squat feeder in the first photo.
I probably have some early photos of the first buck (I am guessing him to be 3 years old) but with no ear tag, hard to say if he's the one.

Very nice! I've yet to run protein on any of our properties, but I think I may start an off season feed program
