I got tired of wasps and maintenance and other deer stand crap. I came into a deal so I upgraded. As you can see it's on 6-8" feet. I would like to put it on a dedicated trailer. So , help me out , what kind of trailer and how do I secure it to the trailer ? In the picture it's tied down with big yellow cargo straps. It is 5x6
I really don't care to elevate it. I will get some jacks for leveling. Thoughts ?

Also , is there anyway to put a lift kit on a trailer? Needs to be road worthy

Either build a trailer yourself, or get one custom made how you want it. I wouldn't buy any of those cheap made trailers that the chain stores sell.

Dedicated trailer needs s steel floor so the 8" legs can be welded to the trailer. Not sure how much you want to lift the trailer but longer spring hangers could be fabricated to raise the deck.

I did an axle flip on my trailer, that is, moved the axle from over the leafs to under them. Netted about 4" lift. Been running it that way for years without an issue. It gets used a couple/few times a week.

For the mount, I'd cut the feet off the legs, sleeve the existing legs with square tube long enough to get the door above the trailer rail, and then run a piece of 2" angle between the front legs (left side as you walk into the stand) and another between the back legs. Weld it all together, and run bolts and a backing plate through the angle and the 2x6s on the trailer floor.

Those are cool , but I want keep it a little simpler

I saw a company named pacwest that makes a 5x7 flatbed. I think that is a nice concept

I've also seen a few tall military trailers that might be an idea

Military trailer may work you dont want the side rails so you can open the door.

how often will you be going down the road with said stand/trailer? keep overall height in mind for transporting and thru the pasture (trees). If the stand sets up high, becomes a parachute effect going down the highway. just something to consider.

I got just the trailer you need. It is even tilt bed capable. The pintle hitch would also give you a lot more flexibility as opposed to a regular ball.

Not that often. Good things to think about

What are the bed dimensions, especially between wheel wells?
Bed length?

Why not go to harbor freight and get one of their small trailers and bolt it to the frame. They have some for $500.00 or less.

I've thought about it. Lots of possibilities out there and I'm not in a rush. I don't need the best since it will just sit, but I also would rather spend a little more if it much better or stable.

Go with a wide trailer frame and axle. We've got one we built on a 4' axle that I think is a little too heavyset , the floor is 36" off the ground though.

Agreed. I towed my last blind out on a 5 foot wide stock height trailer, the blind was sitting on the deck, and it was still top heavy and squirrely in the wind. Yours is probably lighter than mine was, but I'd still go at least 5 foot wide on the trailer.

And skip the harbor freight junk, you'll do yourself better by finding a used utility or even an old boat trailer and modify it. Even an old pop up trailer someone's throwing out that you can strip down to the frame.

I can make you a deal on the what is left of my 12x6 trailer. I put new wheel on and have the LED light kit ready to be installed.

I have removed most of the siding and can cut off the rest of the upper steel and ramp if you don't need it. flame

I have ruled out the harbor freight kit. The frame is just to flimsy IMO though it would probably work

I think a utility trailer is a better route. i don't even care about lights and would probably just put a temp set on to tow. My buddy's trailer wire were popular with the rats
