if you had one choice of a broadhead..all around on pigs and deer and varmits..what would it be..shopping around for a really all around broadhead..that flies like a fieldpoint..and leaves good blood trai..thoughts?? not opposed to a fixed

That question is going to get you a hundred different answers.
When I hunted with my compound, I used 100 grain Thunderheads, and I took many deer over the years so it was a proven head for me.
When I hunted with my crossbow I use the Rage 100 grain mechanical head and had accurate and dependable results.
With my recurve I'm shooting a lower poundage so I need a two blade that will get maximum penetration.
There are so many heads out there now it will make your head spin, and they will all do the job in the right hands.

I carry two different heads in my quiver. Three blade NAP Hellrazors fixed for hogs. Two inch Grim Reaper mechanicals for deer.

I shoot Rage chisel tips for everything, some people don't care for Rage but I've been shooting them for 8 years with no problems, I started out shooting g the regular 2 blade Rage original, never had issues with those either.

I guess that means he uses field tips.

My favorite is the rocket sidewinders but they have been hard to come by these last few years

Depends on what kind of bowhunter you are. If you're like most, and pull your bow out about 2 weeks before season and shoot at 20 and 30 to make sure you can still hit a pie plate, you're doing the deer, or any critter for that matter, a disservice to shoot anything but a mechanical. Bows are a lot better than they used to be, but it still takes time to tune your broadheads.

It's been said, some people don't care for Rage BH's, but I've been shooting them since they came out and can honestly say I haven't lost a deer since.

I'm leaving for Idaho tomorrow, and unfortunately you can't shoot mechanicals there, so I'll be shooting the Trophy Taker Shuttle T's. They tuned easy and are flying awesome at 70 yards. Hopefully I'll be able to comment on their killing ability when I get back. Last year I shot my bull with a Muzzy Trocar. He died, but he ran a while, probably more shot placement than anything, but that made me lose confidence in the Trocars.

It's all about the confidence you have in your equipment. Shoot as many as you need to until you find one that kills the way you want it to. Devastating and quick. I've found that in Rage BH's for mechanicals where legal, but I'm still looking for a fixed head I like. Hopefully the Shuttle T's will do it for me this year. Good luck to you.

They are similar but shorter than the Muzzy Phantom 4 blade. In the first pack of 3 I opened, they all fly straight. I haven't used them on game yet, but I'm sure they will be good to go.

Slick Trick Magnum, i have shot about 6 different kinds of fixed broadheads and these have been the only ones that fly the same as my field points no adjustment needed- Even tested it out with 3 different buddies looking for a fixed blade that flew like their field points worked the same on all bows different Lbs- it also kills everything i have hit with complete pass through on pigs, deer and prairie dog
