Anyone know of someone who's holding dove and teal around Coleman - gonna take the old man out this weekend but my leases aren't holding any birds at the moment. If you know anyone shoot me a pm.

I'll be with these guys this weekend on a dove hunt out of Coleman. Hunted with them twice before and usually get my limit. Corporate hunt so I am in for the food and drinks so birds a bonus. http://www.firstshothunts.com/texas-dove-hunting/

Hank Wise @ Centennial is booked through the remainder of the season. I reached out to First Shot but haven't got a response. Have fun - we'll be in Santa Anna trying to scratch out some birds on my properties I reckon. Food source is key and our sunflowers didn't come in very thick.

These guys normally only run corp hunts I think. We are staying just outisde Santa Anna. Had a real good hunt one year on edge of the town. Hope he finds us some birds!

Hunted last week with Sam and Alan @ http://www.doublebarreloutfitters.comIt was our first experience and left satisfied and impressed. These guys actually SCOUT!! There may be a drive involved but you will be taken to birds and will not be dumped in a field and wished good luck. These guys are really trying to do it right. Accommodations and meals were great as well.

Guys worked hard but birds were just not there in big numbers. I got 7 Fri and 4 Sat morning. Some guys only got 1 each hunt but had a pile of shells. Lol. I think they were horrible shots though but it was tough. Just not a lot of birds in the area for a barrel burner.

Where did y'all hunt? About 20 minutes SSE of Santa Anna. Hopefully gets better for you but food is everywhere. Hardest hunting in years. Drought is good sometimes...
