I just thought I would throw one in there too, since everyone else has sent in pics...

This pic was from june. I have since gotten lots of pics form him and his friend. Will sned pics of them in a second. Really just trying to figure out how to send pics since photobucket is no longer a viable source of pics...seems pretty easy from the phone.

These guys have been seen never apart. They are bosom buddies for sure. I would love to see them spar...

Here is a better pic of the body....they are both essentially the same size. I like to think they are both the same age, although I can't really tell...

This pic was last night. They are still not showing any signs of aggression to each other and I am really curious to see when they split up, if they do. There is one other buck that I have my eyes on, he is seen in the back on the second to last pic. Nice brow on one side. These three will all get passes this year. The property is new to me and these deer are not fully up to the potential of the area yet, so we will watch them for at least another year and see what they do...

I would think they are 4 or so, maybe older maybe younger I don't really like pictures of pictures on phones.

Maybe they are brothers and that's why they hang together?

red, that's exactly where I thought they were too, around 4, maybe a year older or younger, not sure. I know these aren't the best pics, like I said I was just trying to see how posting pictures works since photobucket is not available (unless you pay too much money).

One kicker I haven't stated yet is these are Oklahoma deer, not texas deer. They get bigger up there and specifically in this area the deer are large. Not uncommon to take a 180+ inch buck every couple of years with no high fence and no supplemental feed. They just grow big along the river bottoms. Lots of food sources. So that's why I figure I would let them grow a little more. The early pics made them look young, and my gut said maybe 3 at that time, so I am good with 4 +/- a year.

My neighbor showed a pic of a deer he took a couple years ago that was 27inches inside spread...in addition to the two other 180 class boomers he had taken over the last 5-6 years, he said he had never seen any of those deer until he shot them, just trolling the river bottoms.

Beautiful deer, buckeye. Agree with middle-age bucks except for one (maybe). The high basket buck in the last photo looks mature (5+).
