Nice ones. Crazy to see how green it is around in August, instead of all burnt up this time of year. up

I got a late start this year, just couldn't make it out like I usually do. Have 5 days worth of pictures and pretty happy with all of them. Checking cameras has become one of my favorite parts of hunting. Gives me a chance to look back and see if I can find the deer from years past grin

He is a good one. Splits on both G2's and a small kicker off both also. I like the old arse 10 pointer in the first picture cheers

We have definitely had some good rains this year. Not a lot of run-off, but enough scattered showers to keep everything growing. Also, broom weeds are much less this year. I was surprised how much the deer were hitting the feeders with as much grass and browse is out there.

very nice. I only have a handful of pics at the moment. Just got all feeders going a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait to get back out there and see what else is hanging around.

Looks like it is going to be a good year judging by your pics. The rains have helped as well for us. So nice to the green in the pasture opposed to brown.

Seems to be shaping up to be a good year. We have had good rain for 5 years, so our 3-5 year olds are in good shape. We have had mild winters so the survival rate has been pretty good. Hoping for some nice deer.

I have seen conflicting studies about drought recovery, but I still believe "drought babies" can be effected in their later years, especially when combined with the reduced age class. The older buck in the daylight is a good example of my theory.

Some good looking bucks up I guess you're bow hunting from a ground blind? Probably not much elevation and cover in the mesquites laugh

Lucky for me, I am not a tall fella rofl

I have two stands that are actually in hackberry trees and work pretty well. Most my blinds are ground blinds. We built 3 new ones this weekend and put them out. They are bigger than what I typically hunt out of and were harder to conceal, but I won't have to worry about maintaining them as much as my other ones.
