Got a beast of a bushbuck on my hunt last week with Leopards Valley Safaris. Got 10 hard earned animals on a 12 day hunt. The Bushbuck was the coolest in my humble opinion.

Not sure yet. May have it done in RSA by African Wildlife Artistry. I managed to get 10 animals during the hunt. 4 of them are the small ones. I was concerned about using a stateside taxidermist to mount my Vaal Rhebuck and and mountain reedbuck since these are unusual animals to mount.

The guy I've been using in Gilmer did good work, but now he's acting kind of funny. He wants me to tile his bathroom in exchange for my full mount Nyala, but it's not an even trade and I'd be losing money, so I declined. He's had my Eland for several months now and has gone from a quick turnaround to a very slow one. I'm thinking it's time to find a new taxidermist for my Nyala once I get my Eland back.

Congrats on the ten animals, that's gonna really change your trophy room. Do you have enough space for all of them?

In A word no.....I don't have enough room. We are actually thinking about moving to a slightly larger home with at least one room with high ceilings.

It's a haul but I have been using Alpine Taxidermy in Fort Worth. The longer I have been using Terry with Alpine the happier I am with him. It took me a while to realize just how good and timely he is. He also does a lot of Africa/New Zealand/exotic stuff.

Outstanding ram. Nothing compares to the spiral horns, IMO. Congrats!
