Blew my last day. Found one lone gobbler....had to be 200 yards away....got him coming...when he was about 50 yards out I tried to re position to a different group of cedar trees.......and spooked a deer, that bolted....and then so did Tom.
All I could think was 'damn, I knew better' .............. patients right.

Better weekend than I! I only heard one bird and never got on him. Had a great time though and thinned out a few other varmints (and snakes) at the farmers' request.

I got mine Saturday at 7:45 pm. For some reason this was a hard season, just did not see many but they are there.

I passed as buddy called me on way to my place to hang out and drive to his place. We took 3 toms and a jake so felt we did enough damage. They were not responding any ways so didn't care to shoot a drive by to a feeder.

Makes sense. Thats a good number of birds to come off a place anyways (depending on size of the farm you're hunting). It's always more fun when they interact with you.
