Well after this storm rolled through yesterday, now its time for some pretty weather. Thinking about grilling some bbq tomorrow for the family and friends. I want to try something different. I'll have the usual sausage and boudain for the kids with hotdog buns cause what they mostly eat, or hamburgers. What else can I do as a specialty though?? I'm tired of doing ribs or chicken...I mean I can have those, but whats something new I can try? I like trying new things out on the grill. My smoker is at the camp so that's out of the picture.

Well it depends on how fancy you want to get, I got the idea from Steven Raichlen. I changed up the recipe from the one he actually did. It's bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with pickles, ham, and gouda cheese.

It was pretty good, and with the pickles in there it gives some texture to the meal.

I'm not picky.

Pick up a pork loin and cut chops as thick as your heart desires. Or some big shrimp with squash. You can grill almost anything really.
