Seems pretty early for us but walking looking for sheds today I kicked up a female bob on a nest in Irion Co.

Global warming. That are marching on Washington today to protest.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

If it isn't white it is not a birddog.

Yeah I could see 9 eggs may have been a couple under that didn't want to jack with them.

I am checking Accuweather website and it says that it is raining in Jayton right now. I certainly hope so. As for quail, this could be the "money" rain as we used to say in cotton farming.

Spent some more time hunting sheds Sunday and seems like just about every quail I kicked up were pairs. I guess they are kicking it off.
