OP tlk THF Trophy Hunter Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 6,307	Wife and I went to Spain to celebrate our 40th anniversary. What an incredible trip and hunt. Spain is exactly what one pictures it to be. Tough hunt with lots of climbing and glassing. One of the most interesting things was that the game wardens serve as guides - I had an interpreter who went with me but the two wardens did the scouting. They have to ok the animal before you shoot to make sure it is a mature animal. After I shot they cleaned and skinned the animal and carried it out for me. Then on the way out of the mountains my interpreter asked if I wanted to stop at a small bar in the countryside and have a beer - I said yes of course so the two game wardens (in full uniform) had a beer with me - I picked up the tab of course.
