Actually they have to chew a little. That is fine if they have to chew a little, but it isn't going to be me that they are chewing on if I can help it.

"...coral snakes possess one of the most potent venoms of any North American snake..."
"Coral snakes have a powerful neurotoxin that paralyzes the breathing muscles; mechanical or artificial respiration, along with large doses of antivenom, are often required to save a victim's life. "
Is playing with one of these really worth the risk?

It really just needs to hit you in the right place... say the loose piece of skin between the thumb and pointer would be a very bad place

Is playing with one of these really worth the risk? if your confidant id say so... From the folks iv herd that handle them they say you almost have to injure one to get it to bite

From the folks iv herd that handle them they say you almost have to injure one to get it to bite Ive handled enough snakes that im comfortable with most. And like nav said, coral snakes arent aggressive. It tried to strike when I released it, but that was it.
