The chickens began hollering early this morning, so I grabbed my KelTec PMR 30 and headed out to see what was upsetting them so badly. I found this guy clinging to one of the window screens on the coop. He dropped off when he saw me, and started moving off (at the usual break-neck 'possum speed) toward the brush. One 22 magnum round to his head and his chickenlickin' days were over.

More likely buzzard bait. This one smelled so bad I think he may have had a recent encounter with a skunk! It was awful.

Ya gotta wonder sometimes, what was God thinking, when he made the possum.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.

Ya gotta wonder sometimes, what was God thinking, when he made the possum. Michael W, I think He was having an off day; or it was near the end of the week and He had a few parts left over and He wasn't sure what to do with them!

Ya gotta wonder sometimes, what was God thinking, when he made the possum. You don't know beauty unless you have a standard of beauty and ugly. So there has to be beauty for us to know what is non-beautiful. For the philosophers in the crowd, it's Aquinas' Fourth Way, or the argument from gradation of being. But everyone already knows that. This we call God. The possum just happens to be on the ugly end of the scale. There is an uglier....I think the nutria wins the prize.

lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
