Had the amazing opportunity to hunt Trey Kuenstler's ranch in Tilden this last weekend with my brother and my best friend. I had high expectations for this hunt and Trey succeeded in exceeding all of them! Beautiful ranch, lots of wildlife, nice rams, good food, and great company! I expected to show up, shoot a ram, shoot a hog and be done but instead I got 1.5 days of real hunting, catfishing, Polaris rides, and making new friends! My buddy and I got two nice $300 Black Hawaiians and my brother got the Texas Dall he always wanted. This was the first exotic hunt for all three of us and we loved every second of it! That evening I got a decent sized hog right off the porch of the lodge. The lodging is bigger and better than my apartment with every amenity we could ask for. Definitely coming back later this year, if anything just to enjoy the South Texas country and company of a great guide. Thanks to everyone on this forum who recommended Trey to me and answered my questions leading up to the hunt.
