Spent another amazing weekend in Tilden, TX.
This was my 2nd trip allllll the way from Dallas and it was worth every mile. The facilities are amazing. The lodge is nicer than my house (don't tell my wife) and a group shooting/observation deck has been installed and the views (and cell service) are amazing. Shared camp with a few guys from Austin and had the opportunity to do one of my favorite activities...cooking over an open mesquite fire.
Shot a silver medal (missed gold by 2"...damn you symmetry!) Black Hawaiian and Trey did not fail in the affordability department. I have hunted rams all over the state. Some easy, some wore me out, some were a complete waste of time. If you want to have a great time, give Trey a call.

I was one of those guys from Austin, I can concur, it was an awesome weekend of good hunting, fishing, and food!
