 who's truck was it that got hit by lightning?

If I remember the story, they were getting the get to go duck hunting and the truck took a hit from lightning. My car got popped going down the highway yesterday.

The fellow was opening a gate to leave the property after duck hunting and his truck was struck right after he got in.
Sorry to hear your car found the graveyard.

The fellow was opening a gate to leave the property after duck hunting and his truck was struck right after he got in.
Sorry to hear your car found the graveyard. I am thinking it is fried. It quit immediately!

That is what is left of my antenna. The rear glass was distorted from the heat and the center break light lens cover was broken.

Yep it was me!
Best of luck....I hope they total it for you. Mine was totaled and I had a check within 3.5 weeks.
I have a coworker who had it happen to him, and he kept having crazy stuff pop up, magnetized bearings, fuses didn't last all kinds of weird stuff. Had to keep putting it in the shop. Insurance is finally going to total it.

Glad you're alright! Hope your new vehicle turns out alright.
I got my wife a new Honda Pilot, and I got her old car. First time I haven't had a truck. Gonna save up a year or two and then get a new one for me.

I have a new respect for lightning. I was a long way away from the storm front. I can't imagine being in the water in the same conditions.

So about 10 of the days were my fault and then I kept putting back counter offers trying to get more money for recent work on the truck. Was able to get $700 more bucks than the original offer so it was worth it.
