Does anyone raise Giraffe's in Texas?
Anyone know what a Giraffe costs? Not to hunt, but to buy?

Anyone know what a Giraffe costs? Not to hunt, but to buy? There are several ranches with giraffes on them. Seen yearling males go for 25-30,000. Females of all super exotics are extremely high right now for several reasons. I've seen breeding pairs go for 125000. The Ox ranch, YO ranch, and Brian Gillroy's wildlife partners all have giraffes to name a few. Go to Facebook ( exotic trader page) and post an I want to breed giraffes thread if you are serious. I'll tell you that it's quite a commitment. Most have tall barns for shelter since they don't fare to well in extreme cold.
