Not sure which larue mount to put on my JP RC handguard for a coyote reaper light at 1:30. I shoot lefty. The handguard has slots every 45 degrees all the way around.

I've had better results with a light under the barrel. So in line with the barrel.

Yes, that's what's worked well for me.

It's user preference though.

Is the one I'd go with. Will throw the light true to aiming.

I use offset mounts. It keeps it closer to your barrel and throws the light more true to me. Most in line mounts makes the light to far away from the barrel and it snags on everything especially when walking through tall grass or brush.

This is the offset mount I use on my IR for night vision. Very close to the rail and suppressor which makes it very close inline with the barrel. Mounts directly to the keymod rail so you don't have that extra half inch between the rail and the mount taking up more space and making it bulge out.

I think this is the one im going to go with. Ill be switching the light from my AR to my other rifle that has a rail mount on the scope. The offset mount will probably be awkward on top of a rifle scope.
