"I have no interest in birds! None! Nada! They just flutter around and make nuisances of themselves! I'm up here because the view is stunning. Ya gotta problem with that?"

Yep! Sure did, several years ago! Lots of coping saw and band saw work.

Nice, that looks good. My wife wants a new bird house built for our back yard. I been looking at designs to try and build.

DPirates, I got the plans for this one about 15 years ago, from an old woodworking friend of mine who has since passed on. I'll see if I can find the plans, but, as I recall, he loaned the plans to me, I built the house, he critiqued it, and took his plans back to his shop! I'm pretty sure that you can find something that will make Momma happy and that is something you want to build on the internet! Try a place like this: http://www.craftionary.net/make-birdhouses-garden/ If I do find those plans, though, I'll be glad to copy them and share them with you.

DPirates, I checked my files this morning to see if I still had a copy of the plans for that birdhouse but could not find them. As mentioned, I think I returned the plans to the fellow who loaned them to me.

That's okay. I'm going to check that website out that you linked. I may find a good craft idea to do from there. Thank you Mikei
