Sorry, I'm not one for teasers. Check out the new Vortex 1-8x24 Strike Eagle 30mm Rifle Scope Details of this scope are still up in the air. However as new information is obtained regarding this jewel, I will add to this thread.

Hang in there, they will be out later this year. Matter of fact, there is a new feature on our website where it will notify you when product arrives in stock if you don't want to back order one.
I know that you have one, but I really think you would like this one.

If that had a Mil reticle and .1 Mil turrets I'd consider it.
But it doesn't, so I'll stick with my SS 1-6X.

cant they just make one without a Ferris wheel looking reticle.
this is the first Vortex I MIGHT consider buying for a truck rifle, or pistol caliber AR.
but I don't think I like the busy reticle...
I would have to check it out in person.
not bad for $350
I'll be following this with interest

I am curious if the glass quality difference between this and the pst gen 2 That's a good question. Both are new, but when they arrive, I hope to have a brief second with each to see what they both are like. I'm willing to bet that the PST will outshine it. However I don't want to jump to any conclusions without seeing both.

I am curious if the glass quality difference between this and the pst gen 2 While I have no idea what the street price will be, Vortex shows the Strike Eagle 1-8 at $569. The PST gen 2 is $999. I'm willing to bet there will be a serious difference in the two.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Hey Skyler Cabelas has them on sale April 6? Do you have them yet? Cabela's prints their ads months in advance. I think I read somewhere the 1-8 Strike Eagle won't be available for several months at the earliest. I'd be willing to bet there won't be any Strike Eagles a available from Cabela's. Hopefully I'm wrong. Cabela's has a habit of putting new firearms on their website that aren't available for a long time and advertising a firearm for sale and not having it in stock.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

The teaser I saw on vortex Facebook showed a reticle with bdc holdover dots. Kind of like the primary arms acss. Has that reticle image made it out yet Skyler?

I check frequently for new product information. Although I have not been able to obtain exactly what this reticle is going to look like.
