Our axis hunts are $2600 with lodging. Meals are not included so bring your own food to prepare meals or go to town about ten minutes south of us.
2 day hunt on our place in Gonzales County about 2 hours west of Houston and one hour south of Austin. I will cape/ quarter your game at no extra charge. The fee includes a 2 night stay in ranch house across from where we conduct our hunts.
170 acres HF
No additional kill fees, per-inch fees, or trophy fees.
50% non-refundable payment to book the hunt. Remainder due upon kill.
If you don't get a shot we will rebook you to the next available hunt date within one year of the original hunt date.

Hunts are available in late May and through June. I am booked at this time for April 27- May 23, 2017.

Looked at your pictures, those Axis aren't missing many meals

Yes sir, thank you! We do our best tokeep very healthy animals. The axis are our biggest hunt each year, next to the meat hunts. We should have a few in the 33-34" range but I can't get them all on trail cam. We have over 10" of rain this year and lots of wild vetch and clover for the deer and antelope. The batteries ran low on this trail cam and it quit sending me the pictures, even though it still took them. I replaced the batteries today and retrieved some that i took. Unfortunately I didn't have an extra SIM card with me to exchange and get the higher quality picture today.

Wow nice looking buck right there, even in low res. Good luck this year! Looks like a great herd!

Here are better quality pictures of the axis and I added some of the blackbuck. These animals are currently on the ranch.
