Have been in Austin for several days working with a group to get this done. Much thanks to everyone that worked together to get this done. Will and Chuck Herrin, Wild Boar Meat Company and the guys at Texas Hog Hunters Association. What a ride! We aren't done yet, but this is a huge step.

It's a little curious that not many folks appear interested in this as the implementation of the poisoning program would cause serious issues for anyone attached to hog hunting or trapping in all its varieties and anyone involved in the hunting business regardless of the animal hunted.

Or...

Maybe everyone just moved to the Texas Hog Hunters Association. It is certainly much more active.

I'm not in favor of it, but I always thought it would implode due to the rules that accompanied it. Nobody is gonna hunt those dead hogs down and bury them. But any way to stop it is alright with me. I hate hogs, wish there were none on the landscape, but this was an ill conceived idea.
